Lobsterfest has proven to be our largest fund raiser for the entire year! This fundraiser goes toward funding $50,000 in grants and scholarships to people right here in the Quad Cities. Raising that much money is no small task though. Lots of volunteer hours and donations go into making the event as successful as it has been every year. Click here to learn more about Lobsterfest. Run With Carl

Memorializing the life of Carl Schillig through college scholarships and promoting the sport of running continue to be the primary objectives of the run. We evaluate each year's event for continued growth and improvement, and your comments and suggestions are always welcome. The run proceeds fund the Carl D. Schillig Memorial Fund, Inc., a 501-c (3) organization. In addition to college scholarships, proceeds are distributed to groups /organizations in which Carl was active. These include the Bettendorf Swim Club, the Corn Belt Running Club and Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

Bettendorf Rotary members volunteer at the water stops along the route, and any other area as needed. While we are already the title sponsor of the event, we want to involve ourselves further in volunteering more than just funds for this great organization!
