Bill Daley - President

Family Information
I have been a life-long Quad-Citizen growing up in Bettendorf attending Pleasant Valley High School and the University of Iowa in Iowa City.  After many years in Davenport, I am delighted to be back in Bettendorf.  I have 2 daughters, Raegan a sophomore at Iowa State University and Emily a sophomore at Bettendorf High School.  My free time is spent with my girlfriend Shannon, my girls and assisting my mom in this truly, rich season of her life.

Employment Information
I have spent over 31 years in the Floorcovering industry and currently own and operate with my business partner and life-long friend; Lee Zindel, Abbey Carpet Gallery in Davenport.  We serve the entire Quad City region (and a little beyond that).

My Rotary Story
I was invited to Rotary by a good friend over 7 years ago and became a member of this great organization immediately.  I knew many great people who were already a part, so joining was an easy decision. I learned a long time ago that there is a limit to what I can do myself, but there is no limit to what I can do with and through others.  Rotary gives me the opportunity to do just that every day. The Bettendorf Rotary asked me to be on the board and it seemed like a natural progression and I have enjoyed it ever since.  With the 2018-2019 fiscal year, I will be stepping up as the President of the club and look forward to working with a truly amazing group of professional and service-oriented people whom I call friends.
